TAA-NAFTA Transitional Adjustment Assistance 

The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) established a Transitional Adjustment Assistance program to provide assistance for workers whose firms have been impacted, or are threatened to be impacted, by imports from Canada or Mexico or by shifts in production to these countries.

To establish group eligibility for workers whose jobs may be affected, a petition may be filed by a group of three or more workers, their union, or an authorized representative.  Petition forms, and further information can be obtained at your local Career Center or by writing to:
