Exchange)
The
American Job Centers
provide basic labor exchange services to applicants seeking employment services,
training, and pre-employment services.
Services for job seekers include:
- Assessment & Employability Planning
- Vocational Counseling
- Aptitude Testing
- Job Referral and Placement
- Job Development
- Labor Market Information
- Referral to Training
If you are
a U.S. Veteran: US military veterans are afforded priority in all the
employment and training services offered by any of our centers. These services
include job referrals, vocational counseling and testing, training referrals,
job search workshops, labor market information, information on veteran's
benefits, and referral to any needed support services. In each of the centers
there are individuals who are specifically trained to serve veterans. These
Veterans' Employment Representatives and Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program
Specialists, all of whom are veterans themselves, provide specialized service to
all veterans with emphasis on services to disabled veterans. |
