Puerto Rico:  The Puerto Rico Department of Labor website, located at, is now operational and its Call Center is accepting unemployment insurance claims from residents. Some residents may also be eligible for Disaster Unemployment Assistance. Click here for additional information.

US Virgin Islands:  U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) residents who worked in the US Virgin Islands and are permanently or temporarily residing in Connecticut can file for unemployment insurance by contacting the CT Department of Labor at USVI Claim Filing. This includes USVI residents that may be eligible for Disaster Unemployment Assistance if they were working in Puerto Rico.
