Debit Card is one of two benefit payment methods available at DOL.

UI benefit payments are electronically loaded onto a Debit Card,
which is like an ATM card.

The Debit Card can be used to get cash from an ATM, bank,
credit union or to make purchases anywhere the MasterCard® logo is
displayed.

Fees and surcharges may apply, but can be avoided by reviewing the
fee
schedule
and following the tips on
how
to avoid Debit Card fees.

To
enroll online, use the Department of Labor’s secure website.
- To use any of
the menu options on our web based system you are now required to
create an account.

Once you have created an account and logged in you will need to
select/modify payment method and select the option for debit card.

Once you are approved for benefits, a Key Bank MasterCard® Debit Card
will be mailed to your most recent address on file.

Debit Cards are valid for three years from the time they are
issued.

With the input of basic, identifying information, the
Key2Benefits Prepaid Card Status search provides any
claimant who has filed on or after March 1, 2020 the status
of their initial card enrollment with KeyBank.

secure website.
If no electronic payment method is actively chosen, the system will
automatically default to Debit Card. You must create an account
before you can select the Debit Card as your payment option. Below
are instructions on how to create an account:
Note: When creating your account, it is important that you remember
the answers to your security questions. You will not be able to
retrieve your User ID or password without them. The answers
must be entered exactly as they are created including any
punctuation, spacing or abbreviations you may use. Failure to
enter the answers exactly as they are created may result in the
inability to retrieve your User ID or password.
