WETHERSFIELD, Area companies will have an excellent opportunity to meet,
greet, and get acquainted with prospective workers, while individuals can
explore their career options during an Oct. 30 Middlesex County Career Fair
co-sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Labor and the Middlesex Chamber of
Commerce. Also sponsoring the event is the Workforce Alliance of New Haven.
Taking place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell, the event will run from 10
a.m. to 2 p.m.
By participating in the Middlesex
County Career Fair, job seekers will have “the opportunity to accomplish a
comprehensive job search in four hours or less,” Labor Commissioner Patricia
Mayfield points out. ”The job fair also carries with it a proven track record.
