on the Road in June:
Stops Made at Job Fairs, Homeless

During the first part of June, Connecticut Department of Labor employees on
board the agency’s Career Express will take part in a variety of events,
including a community job fair at a Hartford-area church and a regional career
fair in Fairfield sponsored by the Labor Department. Stops on the Career
Express schedule include the following visits:
Visitors can talk with Connecticut
Department of Labor employees on board the Career Express regarding their
employment needs during a community job fair taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
at the United Methodist Church, 571 Farmington Ave., in Hartford.
staff will assist job seekers from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at a Project Homeless
Connect event that will take place at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in New
Career Express staff will provide job search assistance from 10 a.m. to 3
p.m. to residents of the City of Danbury’s Homeless Shelter, located on New
Street in Danbury.
Visitors can discuss their employment and training needs with Labor Department
employees on the Career Express and receive assistance with online job
searches during the agency’s fourth spring Connecticut Career Fair. The fair
will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sacred Heart University, 5151 Park Ave.
Career Express team can be found at job fairs, career development
