WETHERSFIELD – Employees from the Connecticut Department of Labor will
close out the agency’s spring Connecticut Career Fair series on June 19, hosting
more than 50 companies at the Crowne Plaza in Cromwell.
The event, which is sponsored by the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce and
the Connecticut Department of Labor, will run from noon to 4 p.m.
”Our career fairs offer employers a rare opportunity to meet face-to-face with
potential applicants to discuss employment opportunities prior to the formal
interview process,” notes Job Fair Coordinator John Tirinzonie. “Jobseekers are
given a listing of the many participating employers and job openings in a
variety of fields. Experience for yourself why our career fairs attract the
largest number of companies,” he added.
In addition, he points out, Certified Professional Résumé Writers from the Labor
Department will be stationed at the Career Fair and will – for no charge –
review and critique résumés.
Internet access to employer applications, job boards, and career information
