Prevailing Wage Information
Effective: October 31, 2017
Threshold to prevailing wage requirements have been modified. New construction has been
raised to one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) while renovation remains at one hundred thousand ($100,000.00).

note: As of 8/30/19 the following classifications have been updated: Sheetmetal
Worker: Hartford County $37.98 hourly rate and $38.31 hourly benefit Electrical
Worker: Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, and Stamford $40.00 hourly rate and
$36.15 hourly benefit.
As of
10/25/19 the following classifications have been updated:
Painters: Building: Hourly benefit: $21.80
Brush and Roller- $34.62 hourly rate
Taping Only/Drywall Finishing - $35.37 hourly rate
Paperhanger and Red Label - $35.12 hourly rate
Blast and Spray - $37.62 hourly rate
Glaziers- $38.18
Heavy/Highway: Hourly benefit: $21.80
Bridge Construction (Brush, Roller, Blasting (Sand, Wager, etc. ), Spray -
