Last Updated: November 15, 2016

DATE: June 29, 2004

TO: WIB Directors; WIB Chairpersons; Grant Recipients

FROM: Lorna Joseph, Director of Program Support

SUBJECT: 2004 Lower Living Standard Income Levels (70%)

Background:  WIA AP 03-10 provided the last revisions in the 70% lower living standard income levels.  We have now received the updated 70% lower living standard income levels.

Policy:  Effective June 25, 2004, WIA areas can use figures on the attached chart as the appropriate lower living standard income level data.  The attached chart shows the poverty level for a family of one, since that figure is higher than the LLSIL.

Questions regarding this policy should be directed to Steve Litke at (860) 263-6599.
