Employer Request To Retain Payroll Records Outside Place Of Employment

THIS IS AN EMPLOYER REQUEST TO RETAIN PAYROLL RECORDS OUTSIDE OF THE PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT, CONNECTICUT STATUTE 31-66.  IF YOU WISH TO USE IT TO REQUEST TO RETAIN PAYROLL RECORDS OUTSIDE YOUR PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ITEMS BELOW AND YOUR COMPANY WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR APPROVAL AND NOTIFIED BY MAIL.

In accordance with Section 31-66 all time and wage records must be retained at the place of employment.  Other locations may be approved if it is a hardship to retain them at the place of employment and the ability of an authorized representative of the Labor Commissioner to conduct an audit is not hindered.
