Employer Alert: Several states have reported fraudulent emails received by a small number of employers. The email, which claims to be from “Unemployment Assistance@detma.org” requests that an employer respond by providing employee information due to recent separations. Please be aware that the Connecticut Department of Labor would never send an email requesting this type of information.
