What are the due dates of my quarterly tax returns?

Generally, the quarterly tax forms and payments must be postmarked no later than 30 days after the end of each calendar quarter. Below is a schedule, by quarter, of when the returns are due:

  • 1st Quarter returns and payments due on or before 4/30

  • 2nd Quarter returns and payments due on or before 7/31

  • 3rd Quarter returns and payments due on or before 10/31

  • 4th Quarter returns and payments due on or before 1/31

If a due date happens to fall on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, then the due date will be the very next business day.

If filing and/or paying online, the due date is unchanged, however, due to a one “business” day processing period required by our bank, the authorization date of your payment maybe as much as 4 calendar days after the due date of the return. If you are submitting your return and /or payment on or before the due date, your payment will be considered timely regardless of the Authorization date displayed.
