WETHERSFIELD, Representatives from more than 30 companies will be on hand to speak with visitors about possible career opportunities during the Middlesex Career Fair taking place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 22 at the Crowne Plaza in Cromwell.

Co-sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Labor, the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce, The Workforce Alliance and The Middletown Press, the event will also feature Certified Professional Résumé Writers from the Labor Department.

“Our Middlesex County Career Fair has become a tradition for this agency and its partners, and always provides Connecticut-based companies with an excellent forum in which to recruit employees for the skilled workforce they need,” explains Acting Commissioner Linda Agnew. “This event also gives jobseekers a great place to meet one-on-one with potential employers, to talk with career search experts, and allows them to have their résumés reviewed and critiqued – all at no charge.”

Among the companies signed up to participate are Clear Channel Radio, DATTCO, Primerica, and United Illuminating.

Companies interested in registering for the Middlesex County Career Fair should contact Johanna Bond at the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce at (860) 347-6942.
