Career Express To Visit Local Libraries: Job Search, Résumé

Connecticut Employees on board the agency’s Career Express will present
workshops at a local high school, visit a public library to provide job search
assistance and résumé critique, and offer job search assistance sessions in
Bloomfield and Haddam during the first half of March.
Career Express staff will provide job search assistance and résumé
critique to visitors during a public event being
held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Prosser Public Library’s Wintonbury Branch.
Individuals throughout the area are invited to stop by the library, located at
1015 Blue Hills Avenue, Bloomfield.
Staff on the Career Express will provide job search assistance during
a public event at the Faxon Branch Library in West Hartford. The event, running
from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., is open to all individuals throughout the area. The
Faxon Branch Library is located at 1073 New Britain Avenue.
Employees on board the Career Express will present job search and
interviewing workshops for Norwich Technical High School students during a 9
a.m. to 2:30 p.m. visit to the school, 7 Mahan Drive.
Career Express staff will
offer job search assistance to the public on a first-come, first-served basis
during a 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. stop at the Brainerd Memorial Library in Haddam. The
library is located at 920 Saybrook Road.
