WETHERSFIELD, More than 60 companies will be on hand tomorrow when the Department of Labor kicks off its fall Connecticut Career fair series with a job fair at the Rentschler Field Ballroom in East Hartford.

“Jobseekers should bring along plenty of résumés and be ready to talk with recruiters who are looking to fill a wide range of positions ranging from management to entry level,” explains State Labor Commissioner Patricia H. Mayfield. She noted that more than 1,000 visitors are expected to attend the job and career fair, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Visitors can also meet with the Connecticut Department of Labor’s Certified Professional Résumé Writers who will review and critique job résumés at no cost to individuals.
