Stops Include Workshops At Porter and Chester, Hartford Job Corps

Connecticut Department of Labor employees on board the agency’s Career
Express will conduct school workshops in Branford, participate in a job fair
for displaced bank employees and present workshops for job corps academy
students during the second part of August. Stops made by the mobile career
center include the following:
Aug. 18: Connecticut Department of Labor employees on board the
Career Express will conduct job search strategies and interviewing
workshops for students from the Porter and Chester Institute, 221 West Main St.,
Branford, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Career Express staff take part in a job fair for former Federal Reserve
Bank of Boston employees taking place 8 a.m. to noon at the Federal Reserve Bank
of Boston, 317 Ella Grasso Blvd., Windsor Locks.
Job search assistance
workshop will be provided for clients of Lebanon Pines from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Lebanon Pines is located on Camp Moween Drive in Lebanon.
Career Express staff will present “Introduction to One Stop Services” and
“Job Search Strategies” workshops for students at the Hartford Job Corps
Academy, 100 William Shorty Campbell Dr. in Hartford, from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
