Professionally and Head Out to College 2 Career Expo Nov. 6

Students from Massachusetts and Connecticut attending state colleges and
universities will stop by the Clarion Inn & Suites in East Windsor for the fifth
annual College 2 Career Expo taking place Nov. 6. Sponsored by the
Hartford Springfield Economic Partnership, the Connecticut Department of Labor,
Future Works of Western Mass., and local colleges and universities, the event
hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Hartford-Springfield area is home to more than 40,000 companies employing
more than 750,000 individuals and has one of the highest concentrations of
professional/technical workers in the country.
“Employers from the insurance industry to law enforcement are sending their
human resources professionals to hire or to discuss co-op and internship
opportunities. This is a prime opportunity for both students and business
professionals to meet face-to-face in a positive, energetic environment,” notes
Governor M. Jodi Rell.
