Career Express Stops Include
Job Search Workshops for Youth, Visit to Public Library

Connecticut Department of Labor employees on board the agency’s Career
Express will present a job search workshop and provide résumé writing
assistance for students at the New Haven Job Corps during the second half of
November. Stops planned by the Career Express include the following:
Career Express staff will
present workshops detailing job search techniques, the interviewing process and
will also give pointers for writing résumés during a 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. visit to
Co-opportunity YouthBuild, located on Sargeant Street in Hartford
Nov. 18: Career Express will provide job search assistance as well
as information about Connecticut Department of Labor programs and services
during a 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. visit to East Haven City Hall, located at 250 Main
Street in East Haven.
Career Express staff will, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., conduct job search
and résumé writing workshops for New Haven Job Corps students. The New Haven Job
Corps is located at 455 Wintergreen Avenue in New Haven.
Career Express staff will provide job search assistance to clients of the
Capital Regional Mental Health on Vine Street in Hartford during a 9 a.m. to
Career Express staff will participate in a Sam’s Club employee
recruitment from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sam’s Club in Manchester, located at
69 Pavilion’s Drive.
