Art of Safety Education Is Topic of March 20 CONN-OSHA Breakfast Event

WETHERSFIELD, Author and Certified Safety Professional Milton Jacobs will be the guest speaker at the March 20 breakfast meeting of the Connecticut Department of Labor’s Division of Occupational Safety and Health (CONN-OSHA).

Jacobs, who is also owner of Safety Solution Consultants of East Granby and a motivational safety speaker, has expertise in the construction, insurance, manufacturing and environmental fields. He will address several topics covered in his book titled, SAFE? Reflections on Living Safer Life and discuss strategies and tips for providing effective safety presentations in the workplace, based upon his new manual, “How to Deliver Effective Safety Education.” 

The event will take place from 8:15 to 9:45 a.m. in Conference Room A of the Connecticut Department of Labor's Central Office, located at 200 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield.

Also continuing this month, time permitting, Able said, will be the discussion portion of the program. Each attendee will have an opportunity to submit a question for discussion and everyone will be invited to share their opinion regarding the issue.
