Disposal of Universal Waste Products on Agenda

WETHERSFIELD, Hugo DelRosso, Environmental
Safety and Health Manager with Northeast Lamp Recycling, Inc. in East Windsor,
will be the featured speaker during a Jan. 16 breakfast meeting sponsored by the
Connecticut Department of Labor’s Division of Occupational Safety and Health (CONN-OSHA).
The meeting, which focuses
on the proper means of disposing of universal waste products, will be held 8:15
to 9:45 a.m. in Conference Room A of the Connecticut Department of Labor's
Central Office, 200 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield.

products are covered by the ‘Waste Rule’ that provides a set of streamlined
regulations designed to reduce the regulatory burden,” Able explained. “The

program. Each attendee has an opportunity to submit a question for discussion
and everyone will be invited to share their opinion regarding the issue.
