The customer is the
most important part of our process and drives how we do business.
The Center for Lean
Government has two distinct customer segments for its services:
unit-to-unit approach within the Department of Labor where staff is
empowered to champion their work groups forward with on-going
exercises and kaizen events (continuous incremental improvement).
Internal Lean is
designed for the Department's streamlining usage and is not expected
to generate fees or charge backs in terms of budget and fund
accounting. The cost savings of people hours and resource reduction
demonstrates the true value of Lean with agency operations and
State of Connecticut Agencies and Commissions:
There are over fifty
state agencies and commissions with great potential for Lean
training programs and/or kaizen events. Academic institutions such
as the State University system and Community Technical Colleges
would also benefit from Lean training.
Out of State Government Agencies:
States within the New England region have been targeted for
solicitation, in particular State Labor Departments, and Employment
